Profile
- Dr. Ryozo Ooka is a professor at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo. His area of expertise broadly covers architectural and urban environments, as well as urban energy systems. In particular, he specializes in physical simulations including CFD, and in recent years has also expanded his work to include applications of artificial intelligence. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers and has an h-index exceeding 64, making him a globally renowned researcher in this field. He had served as the President of the IAQVEC Association, is an ASHRAE Fellow, and holds the position of Deputy Chief Editor of the international academic journal Sustainable Cities and Society.
